Hainan Island is the second largest island of China. It’s famous for beautiful beaches .You can go diving, fishing swimming and boating there. Haikou is the largest city on it. It’s a pretty city with an interesting flower market. Sanya is beautiful too. It’s neither too hot nor too cold all year around. The most important thing is that there is few factories in the island, so the environment is still clean, no industry pollution. The sunshine is beautiful and forests everywhere. Few cities, most towns are small, few people, few cars, no crowd, you will feel relax here. The road condition is excellent, perfect for cycling, not much traffic. The view is great, you will see green everywhere, see numerous rivers, forests, fields and water buffalos. You will breathe clean air and drink sweet water. You will take look at the blue sky and take breaks at beautiful beaches along the way.

Haikou and Sanya is the two big cities in the island, but compare with Shanghai and Beijing, they are small like villages. Haikou is in the north. It has the biggest business of the island. Sanya is in the south. It has the most beautiful beach. It is a paradise for cycling between them. We can start from Haikou and end in Sanya, enjoy the beautiful beach there. Or we can start and end in the same city to do a loop tour of Hainan. We have level road around the island near the beach, and we have the mountain stage if you want to challenge, and to visit the forest and aboriginal village of Li clan, to see how they live and their interesting culture.

There are three routes from Haikou to Sanya, east, west and middle. West and east routes are level and easy. The middle one is hard, have lot of uphill and downhill.
